Kraig P. Kosena, MAI, Appraiser

A native of Montana, Kraig has been appraising real estate in Missoula since 1988. He earned his professional MAI designation in 1996 and has since owned and operated the firm of Kembel, Kosena and Company, Inc. Kraig holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Montana and is a veteran of the United States Navy.

Kraig has held the positions of President, Member of the Board of Directors, and Education Chair for the Montana Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. In addition, he is an Ex-Officio Member and Chairman of the Montana Board of Real Estate Appraisers, both of which are appointed positions by the Governor of Montana.

Kraig is a licensed private pilot and is capable to conduct aerial inspections of remote locations, giving a unique perspective with regard to many characteristics of a property. As a pilot, he has the ability to provide appraisal services to distant communities within a more reasonable timeframe.

Having done a significant amount of appraisal and consulting work for or with the legal profession, Kraig has qualified in both State and Federal Court as an expert in the matter of real estate valuation.

Megan L. Garland, MAI, Appraiser

Megan was born and raised in Missoula and joined Kembel, Kosena and Company, Inc. in 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Montana, is licensed as Certified General Appraiser with the State of Montana Board of Real Estate Appraisers and earned her professional MAI designation in 2020.

Megan E. Kosena, Office Manager

A graduate of the University of Montana, Megan oversees the daily operations of business for Kembel, Kosena and Company, Inc. while providing administrative support to the appraisers in the office. She has held this position since 1997 and continues to assume varying duties that present themselves as the company continues to develop.

Robby King, Associate

A native of Missoula, Robby is an alumnus of Montana Technological University (Montana Tech), graduating with a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering with a Civil Option in 2014.  Having been employed by NorthWestern Energy for seven years, Robby changed paths and is now on track to become a Certified General Appraiser and pursue his professional MAI designation.
